This month we’re launching a project seven years in the making. Back in 2015, we led our church family at the Almond Branch through a series of messages called “Awake.” These were foundational teachings that unveiled the life-changing message of our redeemed identity in Christ. They also cover our original blessing in God, a reality that predates and reigns over our brokenness.

Two years after this, we took these teachings and turned them into a recovery program called “Awaken Recovery” where we saw the Lord touch people in extraordinary ways. Ever since then, we’ve felt the call to turn this curriculum into a series of videos that anyone can access and utilize.

That vision is finally fulfilled, much in part through the prayer and support of Elisha’s Riddle subscribers – as well as the Almond Branch family. We’ve filmed and edited Awake: The Seven Facets, which leads viewers through a seven-part journey into their true identity and purpose.

We believe this is going to provide a revolutionary approach in sharing the Gospel with this generation. It unites the revelation of Christ’s finished work (and humanity’s inclusion in Him) with the eternal call to be a joyful and fiery disciple of Jesus. We believe this will eventually be part of a new church-planting strategy as people use these “Seven Facets” to walk friends, family, and neighbors through the Gospel. The final Facet then becomes a springboard for people to come into a spiritual community . . . whether at a local church or right in the living room of the home where they went through the Seven Facets in the first place.
