P(e)acemaker

Let this brief word from our friend Richard Murray usher you into a moment of reflection upon the indwelling presence of God…

A person with physical heart-rhythm issues often needs a “pacemaker” imbedded into their hearts to bring their heartbeat into resonation.

A person with spiritual heart-rhythm issues needs a “peacemaker” imbedded into their heart to bring their spiritual heartbeat into resonation.

“If our own heart condemns us, God is greater than our hearts and knows all things.” (1 John’s 3:20).

Jesus brings us resonation with the divine nature.

My two favorite daily Davidic heart-prayers are these:

“Lord, enlarge my heart to run the course of your quickenings of love.” Psalm 119:32.

“Lord, unite my heart to bask in the awe of your nature.” Psalms 86:11.

Every day.

Heart enlargement.

Every day.

Heart united.

Here then is the endgame: “That Christ may dwell in our hearts by faith: that we being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height, and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that we might be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:17-19)

May this peacemaker resonate richly THIS MOMENT in all our hearts by and through the faith of the son of God.
